For the past eight years, Natalie Gorden has been creating custom finishes and murals. Natalie's love of art began as a child, and teachers who recognized her natural talent encouraged her to pursue what God blessed her with.
Natalie has developed a reputation for excellence, integrity and unsurpassed designs that include decorative painting, faux finishes and more. Natalie is committed to updating her knowledge of both murals and faux finishes on a regular basis, and keeps up with the latest trends in decorative art. Her biggest satisfaction comes with that of her clients. Attention to detail and pride in workmanship are Natalie's most outstanding qualities — and it shows in her work!
Natalie's love of decorative art and murals grew through the encouragement of the many friends and family. Over the years, they have "sacrificed" their walls for the sake of Natalie's art. Natalie's self-proclaimed obsession with painting walls led her to seek out instruction in faux finishes and plaster techniques. She took that interest to the west coast's most prestigous faux finishing schools. The instruction she recieved at Fauxmasters in Los Angeles has given her an amazing springboard to a fabulous career as a decorative artist. Using professional product lines, Natalie can create anything you can dream up, from Tuscan textures to crumbled stone.
Natalie lives in Sparks, Nevada with her husband David, and their two sons, Frankie and Hunter. She has an associate degree in graphic design, and throughout her life has pursued various classes in painting, color theory, and drawing. Most recently, Natalie attended a class in murals and trompe l'oeil taught by Brian Bullard of the Decorative Arts School in St. Louis.
